The
call of Ezra Ministries is to edify
and equip the church with sound Biblical
training and to send out power filled
ministers who are moving and operating
in the Holy Spirit to destroy the
works of the devil. These ministers
are ordained in Halifax to serve as
pastors in regions, areas, countries
and provinces of their calling with
a goal to set at liberty those who
are bound. When necessary, Ezra Ministries
ordains its own pastors. To be affiliated
or ordained as a pastor with Ezra
Ministries, candidates can download
appropriate forms at, www.ezraministries.org,
call or write to our headquarters
in Halifax, NS, Canada and we will
send the required information with
all required ministerial application
forms. Upon return, the forms will
be evaluated and considered by the
Ezra Ministries Credentials Committee.
Currently, our affiliate ministers
are providing services to orphan and
delinquent children, prisoners and
widows in some African war torn countries.
Also we are spreading the gospel of
Christ to people in different places
throughout Canada, the United States,
DRC Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi,
Rwanda, Uganda, India and other countries.
Europe, Switzerland and Holland are
now in the preparatory stages of outreach
ministry. We anticipate the expansion
of more churches with zealous, faithful
soul-winning pastors as God permits. |

To
give you a brief background of our
beginning operations Rev. Dr. Abella
Kasheke, founder of Ezra Ministries,
and his wife Sabina Kasheke, began
evangelistic outreach in 1984 while
he was still residing in Dar-es-salaam,
Tanzania, Africia. At that time, as
an itinerant preacher, he opened a
Saturday Bible Teaching and Study
focused on meeting the spiritual needs
of Orphan Children at Kurasini Children
Centre. From 1984 to 1988, Rev. Kasheke
ministered faithfully to these children;
a work that bore much fruit. In addition,
Rev. Dr. Kasheke expanded Bible Study
Services to delinquent children in
the correction facility in Dar-es-salaam
after receiving authorization from
government authority, which also was
very fruitful. Before moving to Canada,
Mr. Theophil Luoga, trained to replace
Rev. Kasheke in the children's and
prison ministries. He is presently
our Officer of Operation in this department
and has continued ministering at Kurasini
Children Centre until today.
From 1984 to 1988, Rev. Dr. Kasheke
preached all over the city of Dar-es-salaam
and its peripheries where he organized
and conducted open-air meetings -
a work that brought many people to
Christ. Furthermore, Rev. Dr. Kasheke
travailed throughout many regions
of Tanzania including Morogoro, Dodoma,
Moshi, Bagamoyo, Tabora, and Kigoma
to preach the gospel in open-air meetings,
street to street, in buses, market
places, parks and public grounds.
Many churches reaped the fruit of
his healing seminars and conventions.
